Holding Hands
Slow Dance
  • It's great to consider placing the DJ near the dance floor to avoid playing over tables and guests

  • This helps the volume stay focused on the dance floor where its needed and leaves other areas with less volume so guests can socialize easily

  • It's great to dim the venue lights when it's time for open dancing, at least on the dance floor area

  • It's a good idea to include enough slow songs.  Some guests won't fast dance, but many will slow dance

  • It's great if your DJ communicates with anyone speaking on a mic to be sure they hold the mic properly for the best sound

  • Speak directly towards the mic, about one hands width away

  • Use a mic stand if possible, but if it's not on a stand, keep the hand still that's holding the mic
